MicroAlgae Technologies

The mission of MicroAlgae Technologies is the development and support of commercial scale production of biomass from microalgae in algaculture facilties.

MicroAlgae Technologies services include algae strain selection, laboratory scaleup, algaculture site evaluation, biofuels facility design, production culture maintenance, carbon dioxide capture, cost effective oil extraction and commercial harvesting technology.

WHY MICROALGAE?

Algae were a primary source of carbon in today's fossil fuel oil. 

Just as modern agriculture has evolved to produce a large quantity of high quality food, algaculture can provide large quantities of biomass for biofuel production.

Algae cells can divide once per day and create up to 1,000 times more biomass per acre than traditional agriculture crops like corn or soybeans.

Algaculture biomass can be economically produced and converted directly to biofuels to replace fossil oil fuels.

Algaculture removes and can recycle carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

Microalgae Technologies  provides technical support to algaculture and biofuel production

facilities.
